After a long wait after the official now, Motorola has officially launched its foldable!

Moto Razr is back! Moto Razr came earlier this month in the United States. Before there were a lot of complaints on the new phone! Nope, not the specs for now, although specs were a major concern for such a phone costing around 1.1 lakhs! But the main complaint was on its Durability!

Moto Razr phones were found to have durability issues on display units of phone showcased at stores last week. Moto Razr was looked on by iFixit’s teardown, which eventually proves that the foldable phone is practically unrepairable. Moto Razr became the least non-repairable phone, iFixit rated Moto Razr as 1 out of 10 where 10 means the easiest way to repair.

iFixit explained that Moto Razr comes with complex construction and multiple flex cables for making the repair process a bit more difficult.

iFixit stated that Moto Razr could be the “most complicated phone-based contraption” they’ve ever taken apart. Moto Razr has a major issue which is in terms of reparability.

iFixit mentions that replacing the battery requires a “near-total disassembly of the whole Moto Razr Phone.” The teardown also points out that the Type-C charging port is soldered directly to the mainboard.

In JerryRigEverything’s durability test, it was found that the Moto Razr’s display is more prone to attract dust particles and lint.

Moto Razr gets attached by one minute particles behind its display, the probability may cause damage to the handset sooner rather than later, with that iFixit mentioned that the primary display of the Moto Razr is replaceable, only if you want to replace it.

Moto Razr also has some of the positive sides of things, iFixit points out that all we need is a standard T3 Torx driver to get inside the device. Moto Razr is going through a lot of difficulties and issues in that time Samsung introduced its competitor Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, which surpasses Moto Razr in Spec Sheet!

Moto Razr’s future is hanging by a thread. After the release of the Samsung Z Flip, now people have the option to pick up a better foldable phone over a nostalgic resurrection that seems to have wrong.

Moto Razr & Samsung Galaxy Z FLip – Which one is the better deal?

If we look at the prices, the Moto Razr is priced at $1,499 which roughly makes about 1.1 Lakhs! Which makes Moto Razr stay on a costlier side than Galaxy Z Flip which retails with flagship specs at $1,380 which roughly makes about 1Lakh. Both the foldable will soon make their ways to India soon.
