To launch the MW65 over-ear headphones and the MW07 Plus true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, Lamborghini has collaborated with headphone brand Master & Dynamic. The “high-performance sound instruments” series was influenced by the style and materials of the famed Lamborghini sports cars. Materials including Alcan Tara, sapphire glass, Italian acetate, anodized aluminum, and stainless steel were used to design the MW65 headphones and the MW07 Plus earphones.
The inaugural series is available in three distinct and eye-catching colorways. The headphones are available in grey/yellow, metal/light, and silver. The MW07 PLUS acetate earphones are inspired by the car’s striking finishes, while the charging cases celebrate the use of matt paint by Lamborghini. Three shades are available for the earphones: white/matt silver polished case; black/matt black polished case; matt black/matt black case.
The price of the MW07 Plus earphones is EUR 3499 (roughly Rs. 30,800) and on the other hand, the MW65 headphones are priced at EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 44,100). The MW65 has two types of active noise canceling technology. The high-power mode is optimized for city highways, traffic, and noise, whereas the low-power mode is designed for lower noise or windy conditions. The passive voice isolation will be activated once turn off the active noise-cancellation. The headphone is also equipped with built-in google assistant.
As the company claims, the MW65 has dual microphones that filter out the external noise and disturbances for much better and clear phone calls. They also have Bluetooth v4.2. The headphones have a battery life of up to 24hrs which can be extended using a 3.4mm optional cable. They charge in 15 minutes for 12hr usage.
The Master & Dynamic for Automobili Lamborghini collection was made available from 20th November 2020.
