Step 1: Google provides google docs services only for people who have a google account. Hence you should log in to your Google Accounts before proceeding to google docs.
If you had already logged in proceed directly to step: 2 ignoring step: 1.
Step 2: When you have logged on to your google account. You should move to google docs followed by the link Google Docs
Later choose a document to edit I here chose a blank document.
Step 3: You will see the menu bar at the top of the page of google docs if you had opened google docs successfully. You will find a menu called ‘File’ on the left corner as shown below select that menu.
Step 4: When you click on the file menu you will find another integrated option ‘Page setup…’.select that option.
Step 5: Now immediately you will observe a pop up on your page naming ‘Page setup’ if you don’t get it even after few seconds try steps: 3,4,5 again.
Step 6: Under the column ‘Margin’ you will find four options ‘Top’, ‘Bottom’, ‘Left’, ‘Right’. By default, they are all set to 1 inch you can change them here.
I have changed them to 1.5 inches and 0.5 inches.
Step 7: Now verify that you have changed the margins to your requirement or else repeat the steps: 3,4,5,6,7.
