Huawei’s subsidiary is now slowly moving up to the mid-range and above mid segment if you’re noticing. Introducing some finely performing budget phones previously, now Honor slowly walks into mid-segment with its new phone priced above Rs.20,000.
Honor 20i With Triple Rear Cameras Launched in China for ¥1,599
Honor 20i, a fresher from the company will sport a 6.21″ (1080×2340) LCD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
It’s run by HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC (12nm), an octa-core CPU with fine clocking speeds. To handle the graphics, it has Mali-G51 MP4 GPU and Turbo 2.0 technology.
Cameras include a triple rear setup of 24MP(f/1.8) + 8MP(f/2.4) + 2MP(f/2.4) and a single 32MP (f/2.0) in the front.
The handset shall come with Android 9.0 with EMUI 9 bloatware out of the box and has different storage variants of 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB ROM as in-built.
Connectivities include the general WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, MicroUSB 2.0, GPS and other sensors.
There’s even Qualcomm’s aptX HD system for enhanced audio.
With fingerprint sensor mounted mounted at rear, it has a gradient finishing panel and a 3400mAh battery under it.

These models of Honor 20i has their pre-orders starting from today and the phone will be available for sale starting from April 18th through most of the online retailers of China.
Whereas, 6GB/256GB and Model APPE (priced at ¥2,199) will be available from May onwards.
The company is expected to announce these phones globally with a name of “Honor 20 Lite” in its upcoming event on May 21, London.
