    Honor Launches Model 9X & 9X Pro in China Starting At ¥1,399

    Succeeding late year’s 8X series, Huawei’s Honor has just launched its new series of 9X and 9X Pro mobiles today in the Chinese market. These are supposed to be performing tough in the mid-range. They’re offered in several storage and color variants. Let’s check them.

    Specifications of Honor 9X and 9X Pro:

    Both the models possess the same aspects of 6.59″ (1080×2340) FHD+ LCD with no notches or punch holes. Being more like an infinity display has a full screen with very thin bezels.

    Both 9X and 9X Pro runs on HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC with Mali-G52 GPUs. Being Pro, the 9X Pro posses and additional cooling tech to vent out the thermal. These both will be running on Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.1.1.

    In the camera department, Honor 9X has dual rear cameras of 48MP (f/1.8) and 2MP (f/2.4) as a depth sensor. And the 9X Pro has triple rear cameras of 48MP (f/1.8), an 8MP wide angular and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Upfront, there’s a 16MP (f/2.0) motorized popup camera for both. It has an audio jack, WiFi, Bluetooth 5, NFS, GPS, and USB 2.0 Type-C connector.

    With fingerprint sensor side-mounted, these models shall be powered by a 4000mAh battery and will be available in colors of Magic Night Black, Charm Sea Blue, and Charm Red.

    Price and Availability:

    The base variant, Honor 9X has three storage variants priced at ¥1,399 (4GB/64GB), ¥1,599 (6GB/64GB) and ¥1,899 (6GB/128GB).

    Whereas the Pro variant of this 9X comes in two variants of 8GB/128GB, priced at ¥2,199 and the 8GB/256GB, priced at ¥2,399.

    These models go for sale in China starting July 30.
