Finally, after a lot of rumours been revealed since few weeks, which were claiming that Apple will soon launch a new phone, the new phone is said to be the successor of the iPhone SE in early 2020.
A report from a German tech site, iPhone-Ticker, it is also said that the new low-cost iPhone will be officially coming on the date of 31st of March in 2020!
The phone is said to come almost three months before the WWDC event takes place in June.
In-depth, the report also claims that the phone will go on sale from the 3rd of April in 2020.
On a report from Kuo, it is said that the new set of devices will be launching in the first half of 2020 and the “price for the phone will be the main feature for the phone”
The prices for the phone are said to start from$399 which roughly makes about around Rs. 28,000 in INR.
In addition, the recent reports also suggest that Apple might launch a grand total of six iPhones this year, which also includes two low-cost devices as successors to the iPhone SE.
It seems like we may get to see more a lot of phones from Apple this year!
But, the latest report hasn’t revealed any names of the upcoming low-cost iPhones yet.
For this, we got an earlier report which suggests that at least one of these two phone might be marketed as iPhone 9 rather than iPhone SE 2.
This report also affirmed that these new sets of devices will ship with the latest hardware under the hood. Which also includes Apple’s latest chipset A13 Bionic chip.
With an addition to the specs, the reports also say that the new phones will ship with 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM with support of internal storage up to 128GB, but as like the Apple’s iPhone from 2019, even these new set of low-cost won’t be coming with support of 3D Touch.
Rumours are plenty, few of the rumours also suggest that the set of the phone will come with an iPhone 8 in design. But, instead of total glass, the new phone will come with a frosted-glass back like iPhone 11 Pro.
Rumours in addition also say that the new set of the phone will support wireless charging like the 2019’s iPhone lineup.
With that, we may also get to see the devices equipped with a single camera at the back and a physical Home button possibly as well. We may also get to an integrated Touch ID also!
