Launch of Samsung Galaxy A20 & Leaks of Galaxy A40: Specifications and Price
Now, in pursuit of increasing its A-series, the company has introduced Galaxy A20 and plans to launch Galaxy A40, A60 and A90 in an event dating April 10. But even before the official launch, a Dutch online seller named Belsimpel.nl has already listed Galaxy A40 on his site with full specs and price. Seeming reasonable, here are the specs of Galaxy A40 and newly launched Galaxy A20.
Galaxy A40:
Sporting infinity-U display, A40 has 5.9″ (1080×2280) FHD+ display with a tear-drop notch and 19:9 aspect ratio. Powered by Exynos 7885 SoC, it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM.
Imaging includes a dual-rear setup of 16MP (f/2.0 as a primary and unknown secondary camera. In the front, there’s a 25MP selfie camera. It has 3100mAh battery under the hood and all other connectivity options required.
Priced at €249 (Rs.19,500), A40 will be launching on April 10.
Galaxy A20:
Launched in Russia yesterday, Galaxy A20 sports an Infinity-V 6.4″ (720×1560) HD+ display. Powered by Exynos 7884 and comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of ROM.
Imaging includes a dual-rear setup of 13MP (f/1.9) + 5MP (f/2.2) and a single 8MP (f/2.0) in the front. Having 4000mAh battery, it is priced at 13,990 rubles (Rs.15,000) and will come to India soon.
Both these phones run on Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s bloatware One UI on top. With rear-mounted fingerprint sensors, both A20 and A40 have MicroSD slots to increase their internal storage up to 512GB.
