Oracle Cloud updates release various new features every quarter to improve stability, remove outdated features, improve user experience, and provide critical patches to enterprise resource planning software security holes. However, these updates pose a significant risk for businesses that do not have the proper mechanism to test adequately and QA their instances before the testing window expires.Â
With the Oracle Update 22A arriving in a few weeks, having a comprehensive testing plan will help mitigate the risk of organizations’ Oracle Cloud account crashes. In addition, this will also allow businesses to focus on how to take advantage of the new features that Oracle has rolled out.Â
Over the years, comprehensive testing was considered to be too costly and time consuming for most businesses working with enterprise resource planning softwares, Opkey and KPMG are on a mission to change that scenario. What’s new in the 22A Update?
Receive Order Forecasts From Customers: Oracle 22A Update allows the usage of new predefined message definition Oracle-1-0-B2B-Order-Forecast-In to receive order forecast messages from clients and use it for your company’s demand planning.
It helps enable the customer collaboration business process to allow the Order Forecast – Inbound document to be exchanged. Then connect it with a customer in the Manage Customer Collaboration Configuration task.
Use this message definition as an inbound collaboration message for a trading partner and then connect the trading partner and Order Forecast- Inbound document with a customer using the Manage Customer Collaboration Configuration task.
After receiving and transforming the message, a compressed file is placed in Oracle WebCenter Content and processed by the Collaboration Customer Demand Uploads resource.
Service Excellence Continuing Investments: Oracle’s continuing investment in service excellence focuses on overall usability, resiliency, performance, and security. The work depends on monitoring performance trends, reviewing common use patterns, analyzing service requests, and participating in many customer discussions.
