The only requirements for the CAPM certification are a high school diploma and either 1,500 hours of professional project team experience or 23 hours of project management education.

The PMI-SP certification is perfect if your role entails creating and maintaining the project schedule. With the PMI Scheduling Professional certification, your knowledge and expertise in creating and maintaining the project schedule will be improved.

    • If you have a bachelor’s degree, you must have worked on projects for at least 3500 hours.
    • You will need at least 5000 hours of project scheduling work experience if you only have high school graduation.

    PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)

    • A bachelor’s degree and 4 years of project and program management experience are requirements for the PgMP credential.
    • You require four years of project management experience and seven years of program management experience if you have high school graduation. Taking a project management course would be an added advantage.
