Galaxy A30 and A50 are setups for sale via Flipkart, Amazon and Samsung’s e-shop, the other model, Galaxy A10 will be available from March 20th onwards.
With Samsung’s intention to grab back its market share, A30 and A50 are priced reasonably to their specifications and brand value in the upper-mid segment.
Samsung A30 and A50 Are Setup For Sale Starting Today
The specifications are:
It sports a 6.4″ (1080 x 2340) AMOLED display with 19.9:9 aspect ratio. With slight bezels and dew-drop notch, it’s protected by Gorilla Glass at the front and a fine plastic at back.
Processed by Samsung’s Exynos 7885 (14nm) SoC and Mali G-71 GPU.
Imaging part includes a dual-rear setup of 16MP (f/1.7) + 5MP (f/2.2) and a 16MP (f/2.0) in the front. With fingerprint sensor mounted rear, A30 is only available in 4GB + 64GB variant for now.
Alike A30, A50 too has the same 6.4″ (1080 x 2340) AMOLED display with 19.9:9 aspect ratio.
A50 is run by Exynos 9610 (10nm) with Adreno’s Mali G-72 MP3 GPU. Imaging includes a triple rear setup of 25MP (f/1.7) + 8MP (f/2.2) + 5MP (f/2.2) and a 25MP (f/2.0) in the front. Unlike A30, A50 has an under display fingerprint sensor.
Common features for both include IP68 certification for dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 30mins), connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS and USB 2 Type-C.
Both runs on Android 9.0 with Samsung’s bloatware on top and powered by 4000mAh (15W) battery supporting the fast charge.
Galaxy A30 is priced at Rs.16,990 with variants of Black, Blue, and Red.
Whereas, Galaxy A50 is priced at Rs.19,990 for 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs.22,990 for 6GB + 64GB variant.
Besides these, Galaxy A10 is priced around Rs.8,500 to perform in the lower-mid segment.
