A low-priced iPhone is indeed a dream for many people out there. Well, this dream might come true now. Many reports suggest that Apple is likely to launch a low-priced iPhone this year.
Sources Say iPhone SE Likely To Launch Between June 15-18
It has been suggested by many leaks from several sources that Apple will launch a successor to its iPhone SE (first-gen). iPhone SE was launched in 2016. It has been reported by JCDecaux, a French advertising company that the device is likely to be launched in this month only.
As suggested by a leaked document that the British carrier EE is all set to unveil the device in the market somewhere between 15th to 18th of June. This leaked document was posted on Twitter by designer Ben Geskin. The document suggests that the British carrier EE has already started working on pricing its contracts for the new ‘budget’ iPhone.
It is also clear from the document that the carrier is also planning to launch AirPower Mat with the upcoming iPhone, which simply means that this iPhone will come with wireless charging.
It is also suggested by the document that the British carrier EE plans to offer 18GB of 4G data and unlimited calls and texts at the subscription for £34.99 per month. This subscription is available for the customers who will buy this iPhone on a long-term contract. Although this leaked document gives much information about upcoming iPhone but we can not say that it is completely reliable.
Many other leaks from reliable resources also made it sure that Apple will soon launch an iPhone SE 2. However, it will be interesting to know what Apple has to offer this time in terms of hardware.
It has been rumored heavily that iPhone SE will feature the same Face ID technology based on the same hardware that was introduced in the iPhone X earlier. This device is also likely to have a typical Apple flagship design, which means it may feature a notch.
Nothing has been confirmed by the Apple so far. But it will be interesting to know more about the device.
