After iQoo 5G, Vivo’s next premium 5G phone is here with a wonderful display and cool camera features. In its event in Shanghai, the company has announced the NEX 3 5G, a third-generation smartphone of NEX series. Here are its specifications:
It has a 6.89″ (1080×2256) POLED Waterfall FullView display model with a 99.6% screen to body ratio! Confirming leaks, this has the Waterfall display which is a clean and super edged screen to give the best watching experience. The screen is compatible with Touch Sense, HDD10, In-display fingerprint sensor, X-Haptic vibrations, etc.
With Funtouch 9.1 bloatware over Android’s 9 Pie, this phone will be running on Snapdragon’s latest 855+ CPU and Adreno’s 640 GPU. Joining with them, it has RAM variants of either 8GB or 12GB, along with onboard storage of 256GB which is of UFS 3.0. It has also vapour cooling system to keep things chill.
Imaging includes a triple rear camera of 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, 13MP (f/2.5) telephoto lens, and a 13MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens. Upfront, there’s a 16MP (f/2.1) camera popped up when needed.
Finally, it has a 4500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support and has all the required connectivities.
With front and back glass body and aluminium frames, this phone will be with not more than 250kg and is available in Liquid Tianhe and Deep Air Streamer colors.
Price and Availability:
One of the two variants, the 8GB/256GB is priced as ¥5,698, and the other variant of 12GB/256GB is priced as ¥6,198. Currently available in China.
Chances in India are blurry, as only the first-gen Vivo’s NEX was launched and not the second one yet which is of the dual-display featured. And expecting this NEX 3 model to India isn’t going to happen that soon. But, Vivo announced that this model will be coming to the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asian markets in the coming months.
