You get a whole new Photos app with this update and believe me, it’s great. The reimagined Photos app gives you the ability to add filters, text, 3D effects and even digital ink to your photos and video clips for great storytelling complete with soundtracks, themes, and transitions. You can edit your photos very easily. The Photos app can also bring together many photos and videos into a particular video to keep your memories together ( Remix Memories as said by Microsoft ). It won’t take long to get used to it, but when you do it’s worth the time.
Cortana
The Microsoft voice assistant. Cortana can do a lot of things, from keeping reminders to doing simple math problems. With this update, Cortana can now take power commands. You can simply ask Cortana to Shut down, restart or put your PC to sleep.
Security
One of the major updates that roll out along with Windows itself is the Security Update. All new Windows Defender Exploit Guard brings protection for your computer from unauthorized changes by nefarious applications and your applications from unknown exploits. It comes with an enhanced coverage that is delivered instantly through the cloud protection service. I don’t know if you remember WannaCry ransom-ware or not, but the update brings great protection against these types of ransom-wares.
Microsoft Edge
We all know what happened to Internet Explorer. Microsoft came out of it and rolled out Microsoft Edge in Windows 10. This update is no different, you get an all-new and polished Microsoft Edge with great new features. There isn’t much to say about Edge, you need to check it out yourself and find the features that suit you. According to Microsoft though, there is much to do with BOOKS. You can personalize, highlights in four colours, underline, add comments or copy text. You can even ask Cortana for information.

- Pirated Windows don’t work anymore ( We will find a way through ).
- Requires better Hardware setup.
- Mixed Reality and 3D stuff need a lot of improvement.

- In the Search tab, type Settings. On the Settings page, navigate to Update & security and then to Windows Update.
