Right after Redmi was given the task of fulfilling budget gadgets, its parent, Xiaomi is producing all the mid and premium products of wide varieties. Yet, today, Xiaomi has launched the upgraded variant of its Mi Gaming Laptop, which was launched in March last year. This model is named as “Mi Gaming Laptop 2019“.
This refreshed variant has got no big changes in build design but has upgraded the internal capabilities fairly.

Specifications:
There are three laptops of the same model, varying in capabilities in terms of RAM and GPU. The base variant has a 15.6″ (1080×1920) FHD+ display with an anti-glare display and 144Hz refresh rate. With 300nits of brightness, it has a 178° wide viewing angle and thick bezels.
While the base and Mid variants have GTX 1660Ti GPU, the high-end variant comprises of RTX 2060 GPU. Further, these differ by processor too. While the base model comprises of 9th Gen i5 Core CPU, the rest two has 9th Gen i7 Core CPUs.
While the base variant comprises of 8GB of RAM, the Mid and High-end variants posses 16GB of RAM. Yet, all have 512GB of SSD. Has Windows 10 preloaded, it has vents for cooling both the sides and has ports of 4×USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet port, one HDMI 2.0 port, headphone, microphone jacks and a slot that supports three types of cards (SD, SDHC, and SDXC)?
It has a fine battery that runs for more than a couple of hours with 55W charging support. Has gaming features of a backlit keyboard, Dolby sounding and thermal ventilation for heat management.
Pricing and Availability:
The base variant (8GB RAM, Core i5) is priced at ¥7,499. And the Mid (16GB RAM, GTX 1660Ti and High end (16GB, RTX 2060) variants are priced at ¥8,599 and ¥8,999 respectively. These models will be sold in China primarily and the news about other markets is yet to be known. As the last year’s model wasn’t launched in India, this model’s debut too is doubted.
