Yes, you heard it right. Google has officially announced that Gmail can now work in offline mode as well. This means that Gmail users can now read, compose and reply to messages without being online.
The Gmail offline service is only accessible to users who access Gmail through chrome. People who don’t use Gmail on chrome can download the web browser in order to get Gmail offline mode. Also, users need to update their Gmail to the new version. This offline mode is not available for the old version.
Users can activate Gmail in offline mode by following these steps:
- Login to your Gmail account.
- Click on the settings option.

- Select the ‘offline’ option from the menu.
