Who doesn’t love Netflix these days? We all do and for obvious reasons. Netflix is packed with all our favourite movies and television series. Now people can get a free subscription of Netflix if they have Airtel TV app on their televisions.
Airtel May Offer Netflix Subscription Free Of Cost On Airtel TV App
It has been reported that Bharti Airtel and Netflix can offer a free subscription to users who have Airtel TV App. According to a report from ET, both the companies are further discussing about the implementation of this plan.
Some sources related to the matter informed PTI that “Netflix and Airtel are in advanced discussions for an exclusive tie-up to offer Netflix content to Airtel mobile customers. Several rounds of discussions have been completed between the two companies and the deal could be announced in the coming weeks.”
Nothing much has been revealed about this plan as of now as Airtel denied to comment on this matter. “As per the discussion, the subscription fee will not be charged for Netflix as well but customers will have to pay for data that they will consume for accessing Netflix Content” the source further adds.
Netflix also denied to give any details about this plan and wrote in an email statement that “We don’t comment on rumours or speculations.”
Although, Airtel and Netflix are already in a partnership, and the Netflix app is available on direct-to-home service platforms and Airtel’s Internet.
In spite of having not much information about this tie-up between the two companies, it will be interesting to know when this plan will be implemented.
