    Asus Launched F570 & VivoBook 15 Laptops

    Besides reckoning in the smartphone industry with its breakthrough models of Max and Max Pro(s), the Taiwanese Tech firm, Asus is slightly re-capturing the laptop segment too.

    In its launch event, Asus has just shown its new products – VivoBook 15 (X505) and F570 models.

    Let’s see what they are equipped with:

    Vivo F570

    Calls a ‘Thin and Light laptop for gaming‘, F570 is a 1.9kg notebook with lighting blue edges and black finish. A backlit keyboard with no RGB colors. Powered by AMD Ryzen 5 – 2500U CPU with 2.0GHz (can throttle upto 3.6GHz). Sports an AMD Ryzen Vega 8 GPU with an additional NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (4GB) as a dedicated card (gaming exclusivity). This device comes with two RAM slots and one with RAM of 8GB, can be upgraded to 16GB with the other. Bearing a 15.6 display, F570 comes with 1TB hard-drive and connectivity ports include 1 USB Type A 3.0, 2 USB Type A 2.0, 1 USB Type C 3.1 and HDMI.

    VivoBook 15 (X505)

    A mainstream laptop for mid-segment. X505 comprises two variants where

    Model 1

    AMD Ryzen 3 2200U CPU (2.4GHz) with Vega 3 GPU.

    A 15.6″ display with DDR4 8GB RAM. 1TB (5400rpm) SATA Hard-drive with Connectivity ports just like F570.

    Model 2

    An upgrade of its counterpart in terms of CPU with Ryzen 5 2500U and Vega 8 GPU, rest alike.

    All these models of VivoBook and F570 run on Windows 10 OS – 64bit.

    Price – ₹30,990 (Model 1) and ₹35,990 (Model 2).

    While others mostly using the Intel processors as tradition, its good to see Vivo trying to compete with its new choice of AMD Ryzen processors for CPU and GPU.

    As a part of the recent partnership, Asus sells these new launches exclusively via PaytmMall for now. A month later, these shall be available in offline stores and other sites.
