2. Disable the VPN or use VPN with UDP (User Datagram Protocol)
What is a VPN?
A VPN ( Virtual Private Network ) is like a connection method that adds security and privacy to public or private networks. Connecting to a VPN often conceals your real IP address. VPN users can protect their data over the internet and get access to certain government blocked websites. VPNs can be used on a mobile phone as well as on a desktop. VPNs can be free or paid.
The issue occurs because the Discord application is not designed to run with VPNs that do not use UDP.
If you use a VPN then you can contact your VPN provider and ask them if it has a UDP ( User Datagram Protocol ) function available and how to configure it. You can also let your VPN provider know about the Discord issue you are facing. If your VPN provider does not have a UDP then you can try switching to a different VPN provider.
