1. Run Flushconfig to Clear Download Cache
By running flushconfig, the download cache will get deleted and this might help resolve the issue.
- Press the Windows key and R key at the same time on the keyboard to open Run Program. Then in the Open box, type steam://flushconfig or copy-paste it in the box. Click Ok.
- Then click OK to delete all the download cache.
- Now restart Steam and check if your problem is resolved.
2. Clear HTML Cache
HTML Cache might lead to the slow down of the game browser and hence it might be one of the reasons why the steam store isn’t loading.
- Press the Windows key and R key at the same time on the keyboard, this will open the Run program. Then in the Open box, type Control or copy-paste it in the box. Click Ok and the Control Panel will appear.
- In the Control Panel, on the search box (right-hand side top corner) type File Explorer. Below the File Explorer Option appears click on it.
- Now select the View option from the Tab and check for the dialogue Show hidden files, folders, and drivers. Now apply the changes done.
- Again press the Windows key and R key at the same time on the keyboard, this will open the Run program. Then in the Open box, type C:\Users\users\AppData\Local\Steam\htmlcache or copy-paste it in the box. Then click Ok. The HTML Cache folder will open, now clear all the data from the folder.
- Press the Windows key and R key at the same time on the keyboard. Then in the Open box, type steam://flushconfig or copy-paste it in the box. Click Ok.
- Then click OK to delete all the download cache.
- Now restart Steam and check if your problem is resolved.
3. Update Steam
Updating Steam can also help in resolving your issue.
- Press Ctrl, Shift, and Esc at the same time on the keyboard, this will open the Task Manager.
- Search for Steam Client BootStrapper (32 bit) and then click on it. Now click on End Task (right-hand side down corner).
- Press the Windows key and R key at the same time on the keyboard, this will open the Run program. Then in the Open box, type C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam or copy-paste it in the box. Click Ok and the folder will appear.
- A list of files and folders will appear. Delete all files and folders EXCEPT Steamapps, Steam.exe, Ssfn, and Skins.
- Now relaunch Steam and it will update itself. Sign in with your details and check whether your problem is resolved.
4. Clear Steam Web Browser Cache
You might be facing issues because the web browser cache is corrupted. In that case, you need to clear Steam Web Browser Cache.
- Launch Steam Client and then click on the Steam Tab ( on the left ).
- Now choose Settings from the Drop-down menu.
- Choose Web Browser from the left panel. Then click on Delete Web Browser Cache and then click on Delete All Browser Cookies. Then click on OK when the window pops up.
- Now Re-launch Steam and check if your problem is resolved.
5. Launch Steam from Shortcut
- Press the Windows key and R key at the same time on the keyboard, this will open the Run program. Then in the Open box, type C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam or copy-paste it in the box. Click Ok and the folder will appear.
- Find Steam.exe and then create a shortcut.
- Then Right-click on Steam – Shortcut and click on Properties.
- Now select the Shortcut Tab, now leave a space at the end of the Target Box, and now copy paste -no-cef-sandbox. Then click on Apply and then click on OK.
- No click on Steam – Shortcut and launch Steam.
6. Run Steam in Big Picture mode
- Right-click on Steam Client ( Bottom of the desktop ) and Select Big Picture.
7. Turn off the Compatibility mode
- Press the Windows key and R key at the same time on the keyboard, this will open the Run program. Then in the Open box, type C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam or copy-paste it in the box. Click Ok and the folder will appear.
- Now right click on Steam.exe and select Properties.
- Click on Compatibility Tab and then uncheck all the boxes. Then click on Change settings for all users.
- Again uncheck all the boxes and click on Apply and then click on OK.
