Meizu 16s Launched With 5G and a 48MP Camera

Introducing Meizu 16s.
It has a 6.2″ (2232 x 1080) OLED display with 18.6:9 aspect ratio.
Processed by Snapdragon’s 855 SoC (7nm) and Adreno 640 GPU. It has the storage variants of 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB ROMs with no option for additional expansion.
Imaging includes a dual-rear setup of 48MP (f/1.7) + 20MP (f/2.6) telephoto lens. Up front, there’s a 20MP (f/2.2) lens with HDR.
It runs with Flyme 7.3 OS over Android 9 Pie and is powered by 3600mAh battery supporting fast charging (24W).
Usual connectivities like Bluetooth 5, A-GPS, JSB 2.0 Type-C and other sensors are available.
Pricing and Availability:
With Carbon Black, Pearl White, Phantom Blue as available colors, Meizu 16s is priced as below:
- 6GB + 128G for ¥3,198
- 8GB + 128GB for ¥3,498
- 8GB + 256GB for ¥3,998
Currently announced for China and is expected to launch global wide soon.
It is said, the Chinese variants of 16s aren’t proper with European LTE bands. So it is expected from the company to launch some special variants with suitable configurations.
