Branding in business does matter. Though there are some which got up with other marketing factors, heaving branding works pays off one day. While that scheme worked for companies like Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, etc, others leave that factor in vain and go unnoticed, even though they got equal specs as big players.
I’m talking about Nubia, a gaming-focused phone maker which gradually came into making premium phones now. It used to launch high-end gaming smartphones in par with Asus’s ROG and Xiaomi’s Black Shark. And the latest development from the company, Nubia Z20 is a masterpiece.

It sports a dual display tech with 6.42″ (1080×2340) front screen and a 5.1″ (720×1520) HD+ rear screen. With both being AMOLED displays and Gorilla Glass protected, the front display has a near 92% screen-to-body ratio and has no holes or notches for the front camera, as there isn’t one!
The rear cameras 48MP (f/1.7) primary sensor + 16MP ultra-wide + 8MP telephoto lens act as a replacement for front camera. One can take fine selfies with the same camera around with the help of the rear screen. The lens is capable of 8K video recording, 3x lossless zoom, and 30x optical zoom.
Running on Nubia 7 OS over Android’s 9 Pie, it has Snapdragon’s 855+ SoC and Adreno’s 640 GPU. With the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, it has a 4000mAh battery with 27W Quick charge support.
With all the specifications reveled, Nubia Z20 has all the potential to take on Redmi’s K20 Pro and OnePlus 7. But with performance, users would declare the actual decision soon.
Pricing and Availability:
Three variants of 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/512GB are priced as ¥3,499, ¥3,699 and ¥4,199 respectively.
For now, it’s only available for the Chinese market and no announcements are done for the other markets. With pre-orders starting already, this handset will be sold from August 16 onwards in Black, Blue and Res colors. Z20 is sold through Nubia’s official website and other online retailers.
