    Oppo Launches A9 in India For Rs.15,490. Set to be Sold From Tomorrow Onwards

    Oppo, the maker of fine cameras has secretly launched a midrange phone in India yesterday. Naming it as Oppo A9, it joins the other phones to expand the A-series portfolio of the company. It was launched in China in April this year, and now it enters the Indian subcontinent.

    Launching the product, the company CEO (Oppo India) Charles Wong said, “OPPO has always developed technology keeping consumers at the core of our innovation strategy. Therefore, with the OPPO A9, our aim is to offer consumers an exceptional experience at an affordable price. OPPO A9 is a crown addition to our A-series, the success of which showcases our efforts in delivering technologically superior smartphones at competitive price points. We hope to continue the growth momentum with the launch of OPPO A9 in this price segment.

    Of course, it seems to be a potential one from Oppo to against Redmi Note 7 and Realme 3 mobiles if compared against specs. As it has:

    A 6.53″ (1080×2340) FHD+ display with a dew-drop notch. It runs over ColorOS 6 with Android 9 Pie as a base. With MediaTek’s Helio P70 as CPU, it has Mali G72 MP3 GPU to handle the system operations. It further features Hyper Boost tech to enhance gaming.

    With a sole 4GB/128GB storage, it posses a day rear cameras of 16MP (f/1.8) + 2MP (f/2.4) and a 16MP (f/2.0) in front. It has Ultra Night Mode 2.0 and HDR too. At last, it has a rear fingerprint sensor and a 4020mAh battery to power up the device.

    Pricing and Availability:

    As said, A9 has a single storage variant of 4GB + 128GB, which is priced at Rs.15,490.

    This handset shall come in two colors variants of Marble Green and Fluorite Purple. Sales commence from July 20th onwards and sold through both online and offline stores.
