Model A9, the newcomer from Oppo is equipped with decent specs that seemed fair against its price.
Our anticipations for this model to perform high isn’t that much, as there are plenty of other brands that give out the same specs and price. And this Oppo A9 is no special from the company.
Oppo Unveils A9 in China For ¥1,799
The screen comprises of 6.53″ (1080×2340) display with a tear-drop notch and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and Oppo claims to have a near 90% screen-to-body ratio.
Imaging wise, it has a dual-rear setup of 16MP as the primary sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) as a depth sensor. Upfront, there’s another 16MP residing in the notch for selfies and recordings.
Running on MediaTek’s Helio P70 SoC (12nm), it has Mali-G72 GPU for handling graphics. In terms of storage, it has only one variant of 6GB + 128GB and supports storage expansion through an external MicroSD.
With the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, this A9 is powered by 4020mAh battery and has required connectivities like WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 and even NFC!
Price and Availability:
With a price tag of ¥1,799 (6GB/128GB), it seems to fairly priced in this segment but is unsure of grabbing the same popularity as F-series.
Available in the colors of Mica Green, Jade White, and Fluorite Purple, it will go sale from April 30 onwards with pre-orders starting today.
