When you run out of innovation, you just produce the same thing with slight modification. In smartphones, the modification is a mere change of color, storage or name.
Just to mark its existence, Vivo has introduced yet another model called Vivo S1, which we found nothing new but the name.
Vivo Launched the New S-series with S1: Priced at ¥2298 for 6GB/128GB Variant

Once the popup front camera is set for flagships, now spreads onto the mid-rangers too. Vivo S1 has a 25MP front pop-up selfie camera and a triple rear setup of 12MP (f/1.78) + 8MP (f/2.2) + 5MP (f/2.4) lens. With only one storage variant of 6GB+128GB, S1 is processed by MediaTek’s Helio P70 SoC and has Game Turbo Mode for intense gaming.
Sporting a 6.53″ (1080×2340) display, S1 bears no notch and a complete display with this thin bezels.

With 3940mAh battery, S1 runs on Funtouch OS 9 over Android 9 Pie and has a separate button for waking up the Jovi assistant.
Has Bluetooth, WiFi, USB 2.0, GPS and other sensors in connectivity.
The phone is priced at ¥2,298 and available in China for now. The global launch is not yet announced and available in two color variants of Ice lake blue and Pet Powder (Pink). Starting pre-orders from April 1, the sale of S1 will be from April 3. Listed on Vivo’s mShop and other Chinese online marketplaces.
