While notches being in a diminishing trend, pop-up selfie camera is gaining attraction these days. Vivo and Oppo have introduced these typical front camera setups for screen maximization, but now they are running as a trend now!
Vivo has just announced two new phones with pop-up selfie camera in its X-series. Well, that’s just not the thing to be noted, other features of these include the embedment of the 48MP camera and introduction in two chipset variants are prominent.
Vivo Unveils X27 & X27 Pro with 48MP Pop-up Front Camera in China
The new phones X27 and X27 Pro are flagships and seem successive of their very own V15 Pro handset.
X27 sports a 6.39″ (2340×1080) FHD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Has an in-display fingerprint scanner with perfectly molded AI.
Imaging forms a triple rear setup of 48MP Sony IMX sensor + 13MP wide angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor. While the front popup camera has a 16MP lens with flash.
Chipset here is where Vivo tries something different. Unlike Samsung handsets which comes in either Exynos or Snapdragon SoC in some markets, Vivo gives users a choice to pick up X27 with Snapdragon’s 675 or 710 SoC. That’s a different one. And this minor change causes a price difference of ¥400 ($60).
While the 675 SoC variant comes with Adreno 612 GPU, the 710 SoC joins with 616 GPU. Both have Game Turbo within and works well with its proprietary voice assistant, Jovi.
On the other hand, X27 Pro sports a 6.7″ display with 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The rear imaging setup is just like X27 and front camera sporting a 32MP camera.
Both support the Vivo’s FlashCharge technology for powering their 4000mAh battery under 1hr!
