There were leaks and speculations around an upcoming Samsung smartphone, Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) in the recent past. The phone has already made its appearance on FCC recently with a model number – SM-G571F. Today, a leak has emerged online revealing most of the specifications of the new upcoming smartphone.
As per the leaked specs sheet, the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) is going to have a 5-inch HD display, with a display resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Under the hood, the device would be equipped with a Quad core Exynos 7570 chipset, coupled with 3GB of RAM. Internal storage would be 16GB, which is expandable upto 128GB using a microSD slot.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) will flaunt a 13-megapixel rear snapper combined with an LED flash. On the front, the device will have an 8-megapixel front shooter. The phone will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Battery-wise, the phone would pack a little bigger battery compared to its predecessor – Galaxy J5 Prime. The phone will pack a 2500 mAh battery.
As of now, no fixed release plans are known. But the recent listing has confirmed that the company might launch the 2017 version of the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime in the coming month.
