Finally and fantastically! Samsung is all set to compete in the lower-mid segment too with its latest launches M10 and M20.
Much anticipated and likes to this series, which is ready to hedge interests going for Chinese players.
It’s expected that M30 too will be unveiled, but Samsung cuts out with only two devices for today’s event. Let’s see those two grands for now:
Samsung Unveiled Galaxy M10 & M20, Priced at just INR 7,990 for the Base Variant

Galaxy M10 Specs:
It’s a 6.22″ HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 720×1520p resolution. A dew-drop notch with maxim screen ratio (90%), which Samsung calls it as Infinity-V display. Imaging includes a dual-rear camera of 13MP (f/1.9) and 5MP (f/2.2) for ultra wide shooting. The front is a 5MP (f/2.0) lens for clean selfies.
Exynos 7870 (octa-core chipset clocking at 1.6GHz) is the proprietary CPU from Samsung (previously used in (J series) which is now embedded in M10 along with Mali T830 MP-1 GPU.
And finally, it packs with a 3400mAh battery with no fingerprint sensor (but with face-unlocking) and other common connectivity options.

Price –
- 2GB+16GB for 7,990.
- 3GB+32GB for 8,990.
Galaxy M20 Specs:
It’s a 6.3″ FHD+ screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2340p resolution. Same as M10 has Infinity-V display.
Processed by Exynos 7904 CPU (1.8Ghz speed) and Mali G71 MP-2 GPU.
Its rear camera setup is same as M10 with 13MP + 5MP but the front shooter is an 8MP sensor with 2.0 aperture.
Equipped with 5000mAh battery and Type-C USB (2.0), Bluetooth 5 and a rear fingerprint sensor. Other options like GPS, proximity, gyro, accelerometer sensors are available.

Price –
- 3GB+32GB for 10,990.
- 4GB+64GB for 12,990.
Both these phones have two variants of Charcoal Black and Oceanic Blue and run on Samsung’s UI 9.5 over Android 8.1 Oreo. Samsung said it plans to roll out Pie in August.

Both M10 and M20 are available exclusively via Amazon.in and Samsung’s online store. They’ve already setup notify page on their websites and ready to start sale from February 5th at 12noon.
