Not that popular nor that grounded, Tecno is fairly known for its budget phones releasing occasionally in India.
This Transsion subsidiary hailing from China is a minimalist in our market.
With some known models in the series of Ace, Click, and Air, Tecno now has a product coming in Sky series. This one’s named as “Tecno Camon iSky 3“, a successor for iSky 2 released in August last year.
Tecno Launched Camon iSky 3 in India for Rs.8,599
Specs of Camon iSky 3:
It sports a 6.2″ (1440 x 720) HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and runs on the company’s proprietary OS (HiOS 4.6) over Android 9.
Imaging includes a dual rear setup of 13MP + 2MP (f/2.0) and a single front shooter of 8MP (f/2.0). All these are powered by AI for face unlocking and capturing attractive images.
The system is processed by MediaTek’s MT6761 SoC, a quad-core CPU clocking at 2GHz speed. Seems this is where the company has compromised much!
Of course, we couldn’t expect high-end processors at this price segment.
Has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro USB etc are embedded in.
The in-built storage consists of 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM with an expandable option up to 128GB via MicroSD.
Pricing and Availability:
The phone is priced at Rs.8,599 and available in color variants of Midnight black, Aqua blue, Champagne Gold and Nebula black via retail outlets currently. Chances of getting online are unclear yet. And the offers of purchase varying according to stores, the company’s offers seemed more interesting like a month-extended warranty, 100-day free replacement and one-time screen replacement.
