Lenovo just surprised everyone by making the 12GB RAM phone a reality. In its event today in China, Lenovo unveiled the Z5s and Z5 Pro as flagship. Let’s see what makes them special.
Lenovo Unveils Z5s & Z5 Pro: Industry’s first-ever 12GB RAM Phone
Firstly, Z5s which sports a triple-camera setup with flash and fingerprint at the rear, it comes with a 6.3″ display with a drop-notch style. 1080×2340p resolution with 19.5:9 resolution, Z5s runs with proprietary ZUI 10 over 8.1 Oreo. May Lenovo passes the Pie update soon.
Coming to the chipset, the Z5s system is processed by Snapdragon 710 CPU and Adreno 509 GPU. Upon minding gamers, Lenovo has chipped in AIE Turbo system for low latency and improved framerate.
Cameras include 16MP(f/1.8) as primary and 8MP + 5MP as secondary and depth sensors. A 16MP(f/2.0) front camera with digital zoom, immersed into the notch.
Varying by storage capabilities, Z5s bears a price tag of CNY 1398 for 4GB+64GB, CNY 1598 for 6GB+64GB and CNY 1898 for 6GB+128GB.
On the other hand, Z5s Pro seems a reasonable answer for One Plus’s 6T McLaren.

It packs the latest processor by Snapdragon, 855 (7nm) and Adreno 616. It sports a 24MP + 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. And the front is a dual camera of 16MP + 8MP. Z5 Pro is a 6.39″ FHD+ display with no notch but a sliding top mode, where it stuffs the both front cameras. Fingerprint sensor is based within the display and carries Dolby Atmos audio system and 3.5mm jack in the bottom.
Z5 Pro packs a 3350mAh with Type-C and Z5s packs a 3300mAh battery.
Z5s is already listed for pre-orders in its official website, Tmall and JD.com and sales begins from month end. While Z5 Pro is expected to launch in January of 2019.
