Next, to Samsung, LG is the major brand from South Korea. We see it’s not much like Apple, Samsung or OnePlus, but it too has some major flagships to showcase periodically. And the latest one is “V40 ThinQ“.
Launched in New York last October, it has finally made into Indian market via Amazon and bundled with several offers.

Coming to specs, LG has its device well equipped with a plethora of features justifying its price.
It has a 6.4″ QHD+ display which is of OLED FullVison Panel and comprises 1440×3120p resolution with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
There are five cameras in total (5rear + 2front) with flash and a fingerprint sensor at the back. Rear cameras include 12MP (f/1.5) + 12MP (f/2.4) and a 16MP (f/1.9) sensors. Each one has their own unique capabilities of being a telephoto lens or capturing wide images. Front cameras include dual lens of 8MP(f/1.9) + 5MP(f/2.2) sensors.
It runs on Android’s 8.1 Oreo and upgradable to 9.0 Pie. Has some bloatware called LG UX 7.1 but that doesn’t feel much. The device is processed by Snapdragon’s 845 (10nm) chipset and Adreno’s 630 GPU. The storage options include 6GB of RAM with 128GB of ROM, which can be further expanded to 2TB with MicroSD.
It has 3300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 tech for fast charging and has Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, WiFi etc as connectivity options.
Oh, I missed this! V40 ThinQ is IP68 certified, which is dust and waterproof for 30mins in 1.5m depth.
