Joining the series of launches, Oppo just showed up its latest flagships in India today. Being a Chinese origin, Oppo has already launched R17 and R17 Pro in its homeland in August this year. Now it’s India’s turn. In today’s launch event in Mumbai, it unveiled mobiles of Oppo R17 and R17 Pro.

Oppo R17 & R17 Pro Launched in India: Specifications & Price
R17 Pro, a flagship with a price tag of ₹45,990 seems reasonable just like One Plus T and Samsung’s Galaxy series. Here are its specifications:
Display
A 6.4″ display with 1080×2340p resolution. AMOLED Touch with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The fingerprint sensor is placed beneath the screen and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. So it would take a take job to crack the sharp and clear display screen.
Chipset
Runs with Snapdragon’s 710 SoC with 2×2.2Ghz and 6×1.7Ghz speeds. GPU by Adreno 616.
Camera
- Triple Rear cameras with 12MP(dual aperture f/1.5 and f/2.4), 20MP(f/2.6) and a Time of Flight camera. Joining with dual LED flash, all these are placed in a vertical format.
- Front with 25MP(f/2.0) with effective low light photography.
Storage
8GB RAM with 128GB ROM and no expandable storage.
Battery
3700mAh Li-Po battery with VOOC fast charging support.
Software
Runs with Color OS 5.1 on top of Android Oreo 8.1
Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS GLONASS etc are embedded with Emerald Green and Radiant Blue as colour variants.
Sale
While the pre-launch has started from December 1st, the sale would be from December 7th via Amazon and Oppo’s official site.
It’s a counterpart, R17 too has the same features in terms of display, storage, and connectivity but tagged with ₹34,990 with some degraded specs. Cut features are of dual rear cameras with 16MP + 5MP and front with 25MP as same. Running on SD 670 processor with Adreno GPU 616. Coming in variants of Blue and Purple, packs with 3500mAh battery also supported with VOOC charging.
