Just a couple of weeks back, Samsung launched a tablet named Tab S5e, which is for the upper tier and seemed best alternative to iOS Tabs, if going for Android. And now, there’s yet another revelation from Samsung before the big launch of Galaxy Note 10.

Samsung’s New Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) Could Be The Best Budget Tablet Coming
Galaxy Tab A 8.0
It sports a 8″ (1280×800) TFT display with 16:10 aspect ratio and broad bezels. This Tab has a metallic body and available in two colours of Black and White.
The operations are performed by a quad-core chipset of Samsung (probably an Exynos 7000’s,). It packs a single rear camera of 8MP and a 2MP front camera.
It has dual speakers, Blutooth 4.2, USB 2.0 Type-B and has only one storage variant of 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM.
Weighing around 350grams, this Tab A would have two connectivity variants: WiFi only model and WiFi + LTE model.
It’d be better if we say this as an upgrade rather than new, as this Tab A 8.0 is a mere updated Tab of its predecessor. Powering up the entire system is a 5100mAh battery.
Samsung says there’s a “Kids Home” option which, if enabled, can turn the Tablet into a kids mode by making it more colourful and interactive. And there’s a “Family Share” feature to share things among members. These can be accessed from Quick Panel.
The official pricing and availability for Indian market isn’t reveled yet. But on comparing to other markets launch, this Tab A 8.0 could be valued around Rs.18,500 (WiFi) and Rs.25,500 (WiFi + LTE) respectively.
What’s satisfying here is the launch offers. Purchasing Tab A 8.0 comes with free subscriptions of Spotify Premium and YouTube Premium.
