These watches are grandly launched besides their flagship Galaxy S10 this February but didn’t get enough attraction as the big thing caught it all. And now it’s time for them. The Galaxy smartwatches have come to India and are exclusive to Samsung and Amazon stores.
Galaxy Watch Active
This smart-wear sports a 1.1″ AMOLED display with 360×360 resolution and protected by Gorilla Glass.
The watch will run on Tizen 4.0 OS and is processed by Exynos 9110 Dual Core chipset. Has a 786MB RAM with 4GB of ROM as storage and has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and other sensors. This watch also has a built-in speaker and when connected to the phone, can play music loud out. Finally, it has a 230mAh battery with Qi wireless charging support.
This smart wear does more than what its competitors do. Galaxy Active, not just tracking the data but also gives you advises to keep yourself in control. It has plenty of motivational apps and dozens of utility apps to track tens of workouts.
While the case is available in 4 different colors, the strap is available in 8 different colors. You get to choose from a wide range of selection.
Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e
Setting aside Watch Active, there are two Fitbit styled watches from Samsung which are purely for fitness tracking. These minimalists are simple, lightweight and affordable than Galaxy Active.
The Galaxy Fit sports a 0.95″ (120×240) display with 120mAh battery, which lasts for a week. Has 2MB RAM + 32MB ROM and has required sensors. Weighing only 23gms, it’s priced at Rs.9,990.
Whereas, the Galaxy Fit e, which is the much more affordable variant, sports a 0.74″ display with 70mAh battery and weighs just 15gms! Has all the required sensors and is priced at Rs.2,490.
