While there’s Samsung Note 10 coming in August, the company has some more gadgets to unveil before it. Today, the South Korean giant has got two cool tablets for the Indian market.
One, Tablet S5e is a premium tablet offered at Rs.35,000 price range with decent specs and the other is a budgetary one with Rs.15,000-20,000 range. Both seemed to be good accordingly. Let’s see how.
Samsung’s New Tab S5e Could be a Fine Alternative to Apple’s iPad. Launched Today in India For Rs.35,999
The premium Tab S5e has a 10.5″ (1600×2560) AMOLED display with 16:10 aspect ratio and weighs below 500grams. It has got Snapdragon’s 670 SoC and Adreno’s 615 GPU for computations. There’s a 13MP (f/2.0) rear and an 8MP (f/2.0) front camera.
The system runs on Android Pie based One UI and has System Wide Dark Theme. Best of it, it supports DeX for keyboards plugin and works like PC.
It’s powered by a 7040mAh battery with 15W support for fast charging and has Dolby Atmos for audio enhancement.
On the other hand, Tab A 10.1 has a 10.1″ LCD display with 8MP (f/2.0) rear + 5MP (f/2.2) front cameras. This will be running on Exynos Chipset and Mali G71 MP2 GPU. Further, it will be powered by a 6150mAh battery and Dolby Atmos.

The Tab S5e is priced as follows:
- WiFi only variant – Rs.35,999
- WiFi + LTE variant – Rs.39,999.
The Tab A 10.1 is priced as follows:
- WiFi only variant – Rs.14,999
- WiFi + LTE variant – Rs.19,999.
Colors variants of both these can be chosen from Silver, Gold or Black. The Tab S5e’s WiFi variant will be sold from June 24 onwards via Amazon, Samsung retail outlets and its online store. And the WiFi+LTE variant will be sold through Flipkart and Samsung stores. The launch offer for Tab S5e is that you can get the Rs.8000 worth POGO keyboard for just Rs.3,500 if purchased before July 1st.
The Tab A 10.1’s WiFi only variant will be sold from June 26 onwards and the WiFi+LTE variant is from July 1st onwards. And these will be set up on Samsung and Amazon stores.
