While Redmi and Oppo are launching phones weekly, their Chinese contender Vivo isn’t falling short in any way. Deciding to grab its share, Vivo has just launched a new mid-ranger and that’s equipped with fine features and aggressively priced. It goes toe-to-toe with Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme 3 Pro phones in the budget segment.

Vivo Z5x Launched with Punch-hole Display & 5000mAh Battery for ¥1,398
Specifications:
Vivo Z5x is the first phone from the company to sport a punch-hole display. And probably the cheapest handset offering such display. It has a 6.53″ (1080×2340) FHD+ display and as said punch-holed display. The IPS LCD panel forms most of the screen leaving thin to no bezels.
The camera section includes a triple rear setup of 16MP (f/1.78) + 8MP (f/2.2) + 2MP (f/2.4) lens. Upfront, there’s a 16MP (f/2.0) lens embedded into punch-hole of display.
This handset will be processed by Snapdragon’s 710 SoC and comes in four storage variants of 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of ROM. The software will be of Funtouch OS 9 over Android 9 Pie.
It’s powered up by a massive battery of 5000mAh with 18W support for fast charging. It has common connectivities like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, LTE, headphone jack and other sensors within.

- 8GB + 128GB is for ¥ 1,998.
