Xiaomi’s Mi 8 Anniversary Edition is one among all the host products that the tech giant Xiaomi plans to launch in the event. Gizmochina spotted a teaser poster on Weibo that reveals may things about Mi 8 Anniversary Edition. There is a big 8 on the poster which means that the flagship device will probably be called as Mi 8 Anniversary Edition or just Mi 8.
According to many previous reports and rumors, Xiaomi also plans to launch other host products like a fitness band called Mi Band 3 and Mi 7 smartphone. However, the main attraction of the event will be Mi 8.

As per the reports, Mi 8 Anniversary Edition can be Mi 7 Plus’s rebranded version. Taking steps ahead to launch, two devices the Mi 8 and the Mi 8 were spotted on US FCC certification and China’s 3C websites. There is not much information given by certification websites about model numbers M1803E1A and M1805E2A.
Xiaomi’s Mi 8 Anniversary Edition is expected to have 6.01-inch edge-to-edge OLED display. This smartphone will probably have a notch at the top of the screen. The notch is expected to hold sensors like front camera, infrared lens, proximity sensor, flood illuminator, ambient light sensor and Dot project. Mi 8 Anniversary Edition is also expected to have face recognition technology.
