Xiaomi has gained a lot of popularity since the time of its launch. The company has turned 8 today and has hosted an event to celebrate the 8th anniversary. The event is hosted in China, its home country. Xiaomi has launched MIUI, Mi 8, Mi Band 3 and various other products in the event.

The company confirmed that Mi 8 along with many other products were launched in the event today. Mi is powered by the latest Qualcomm 845 processor. As per rumors and leaks, there will be a special version of Mi 8 as well. Both the smartphones will have a notch like iPhone X. Mi 8 is packed with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM and it high-end variant will feature 128 GB internal storage and 8GB RAM.
The new version of MIUI interface, MIUI 10 was also launched today in the event. It is called as the fastest interface till date by the company. It will replace MIUI 9.
Another product that is launched today is Mi Band 3. This wearable band will feature a touchscreen display with no physical buttons. The company has not revealed any further information about this product.
The other products that are launched in the event are Mi TV 4 in 75-inches and Mi VR headset. The keynote of the event was hosted by Lei Jun, CEO, Xiaomi, which started at 2 PM local time. There was a live stream of this event on the Xiaomi’s website in China as well.
