Going against the likes of Apple, Mi wanted to offer the feel of an Apple Notebook at a cheaper price to its users.
Today, it has launched the revamped (2019) version of its Notebook Air with latest processors as highlights.
Xiaomi Unveils Mi Notebook Air 12.5″ With Intel 8th Gen CPU: Starting from ¥3,599

Design and specifications of Mi Notebook Air:
The body is made up of metal and weighs 1.07kg, some negligible grams lighter than the Apple’s lightest laptop (1.2kg) and this 2019 model is made much lighter than its previous model 1.4kg).
Coming with no rear logo, Mi decides to put a tiny one only in the front on the thick bezel it has. The screen is sized at 12.5″ (1080×1920) with HD+ resolution.
Consisting of 4GB RAM and 256GB SSD as a maxim, Mi Notebook Air packs with Windows 10 Home and is processed by Intel Core m3 8th Gen
Ports and others:
Consists of two USB 3.0 ports (1× Type A and 1×Type C), one HDMI port and an audio jack (3.5mm).
The system’s keyboard blinks with backlit display and has the battery with fast charge Technology, powering up 50% in less than an hour.
The Audi system consists of Harman speakers with DTS Surround Sound for enhanced audio.
Pricing an availability:
There are three variants available in two color models namely, Gold and Silver and includes:
- Notebook Air 12.5″ Intel Core M3 CPU (128GB SSD) is for ¥3,599
- Notebook Air 12.5″ Intel Core M3 CPU (256GB SSD) is for ¥3,999 and
- Notebook Air 12.5″ Intel Core i5 CPU (256GB SSD) is for ¥4,299.
All these are set up on sale from March 28th onwards and are exclusively for China. There’s no word about the launch in the rest of the markets.
As even the previous Notebooks from Mi weren’t released in India, hopes Mi changes its thoughts and considers the big market this time.
