Xiaomi’s Black Shark 2 Launched For Intense Gamers. Priced at Rs.30,000 for base Variant
Xiaomi has built a great product line in every sector till date. It’s thriving in budget smartphones and newly coming IoT devices. In gaming, Xiaomi already has Black Shark performing good with its first handset and now comes with its successor – Black Shark 2.
With its precedent selling only in China and European nations, this new Black Shark 2 is announced for several markets including India.
Now, maybe, Xiaomi is planning to compete with other gaming OEMs like Asus ROG, Nubia Red magic, and Razor.

It sports a 6.39″ OLED FHD+ display with visible bezels and an in-display fingerprint sensor. With pressure-sensitive buttons adapted especially for gaming, it has an HDR mode, Super theatre mode etc for producing fine visual experience.
The system is processed by the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC, but this handset doesn’t support 5G! Probably Xiaomi has put an X24 modem instead of X50, which is essential for 5G connectivity. Along with Adreno 630 GPU, it has a liquid cooling 3.0 technology for chilling down the phone in intense gaming sessions.
Imaging includes a dual rear setup of 48MP + 12MP and a 20MP lens in the front.
Coming in three storage variants of 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB, it has 4000mAh battery under the hood with 27W fast charging support.
The physicality of the handset is protected by the rugged case and lightened with green lines where ever needed.
Black Shark 2 is priced at ¥3,200 for 6GB, ¥4,200 for 12GB and 8GB variant falling in between them.
