The tech giant Huawei is known for its back to back launches of smartphones and other devices. It is expected that the company will unveil some new devices on June 6. These devices will be launched under its burgeoning line-up.
Honor 9i & Honor Play Series Device Is Expected To Be Unveiled On June 6
Honor is also expected to announce a new series called Honor Play. As seen in the teaser poster, many features of this series will be derived from Artificial Intelligence. “The company is teasing the launch of a new variant of the Honor 9i as its next budget smartphones, with a notch shown off. The launch is set for June 6 in Beijing. This could be a successor to the original Honor 9i launched in October last year, and that didn’t have a display notch. As for the mysterious smartphone in the Honor Play series, the company hasn’t revealed much on that front except that it will arrive with certain AI-based capabilities much like most recent Honor smartphones.” Reads a blogpost.
As per the reports by TENNA, Honor 9i is expected to flaunt a 5.84-inch Full HD+ 2.5D display along with a 19:9 aspect ratio. That means it will also feature a notch. This smartphone is also expected have Kirin 659 SoC with MaliT830-Mp2 GPU and a 64-bit octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU.
Talking about the storage, this smartphone is expected to have 4GB RAM and will come in three variants i.e. 256GB, 128GB, and 64GB. It will be powered by Android 8.0 Oreo along with EMUI 8.0. Honor 9i will carry a 3,000mAh battery.
Honor 9i will probably have a Dual-SIM slot, a 3.5mm audio AUX port, a fingerprint scanner, FM radio, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GLONASS, and GPS.
