With the new flagship for 2020! Samsung also unveiled its so-called affordable range of Flip phone as well!
Technically, Samsung was the first-ever brand to roll out a folding phone with its clamshell design! (Said technically coz officially Royole FlexPai which showcased in CES 2019 and was the first foldable phone which came in into foldable phone market) although the Royole FlexPai didn’t make any success any success!

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a kind of a true successor of the old flagships foldable from Samsung. If we look at the improvements, Yes, Galaxy Z flip is a bit more improved than the Galaxy Fold!
Screen
If we talk about the screen, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip comes in with a clamshell fold design, as for now, we won’t get to see a high refresh rate in foldable models!
The phone comes in with a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen and Samsung calls it Dynamic Amoled Infinity Flex Display, with a pixel density of 425ppi. And it also comes with a secondary display with 1.06 inches outside the phone, where you can take a look at the time and other notifications!

The foldable comes in with a foldable phone. Samsung Galaxy Z flip comes with flagship specs. So, Samsung Galaxy Z flip is powered with a 2019 flagship processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 855+! Which is not much different from Snapdragon 865 either.
The powerful processor is powered in with an 8GB of Ram and internal storage for about 256GB. The phone gets the power from its 3300 mAh battery! Which is divided into two! And still, Samsung has maintained wireless charging here.
What’s new in the Camera department?
Back Camera
Samsung comes in with a dual-camera sensor. The configuration is 12MP main sensor with an aperture of F 1.8and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of F2.2.
Front Camera
You also get the main camera with a 10MP shooter with an aperture of F 2.4.
What’s in the software department?
Samsung Galaxy S20 comes in with a brand new Samsung’s One UI on top of the Android 10 out of the box.
What is so special in this phone?
The foldable design is the main highlight of the new phone! Samsung has gone with a thin glass material rather the plastic which was used in Samsung Galaxy Fold.
As per the design, the new Galaxy Z flip comes in with a vertical fold design which makes the phone to be vertically taller and smaller in horizontal wise, the new phone comes in with an aspect ratio of 21:9:9 which is quite good for a multimedia experience.
Samsung has also said they have gone with a new hinge design which makes the phone stand in half fold as well! And Samsung also said that they have included small fibers to exclude dust from getting into the phone.
What all colours does it comes with?
Samsung Galaxy Z flip is said to come in with trio colours,
- Mirror Purple
- Mirror Black and
- Mirror Gold (Only available in selected countries).
How much does the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip cost?
We did make a previous post on the prediction price for Samsung Galaxy S20, our prediction was right as well!
As we said, the Samsung Galaxy S20 will come for a starting price of $1380 roughly making about 1 Lakh.
