The trend of bezel-less smartphones is now very common and we can give the credits to Xiaomi for starting this trend two years ago. The first bezel-less smartphone was the Mi Mix followed by the Mi Mix 2s and the Mi Mix 2 that featured the same design pattern without any borders on sides and the top. Companies like the Vivo and Oppo came up with almost border-less smartphones and Xiaomi doesn’t want to stay behind.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Live Images Leaked, Features Extremely Thin Bezels & No Chin
The upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 phone is expected to come with extremely thin bezels and no chin that is very similar to Oppo Find X and Vivo Nex S. A new live image has been leaked on the internet and it features an all-screen flagship device. The leaked image, spotted on Weibo, shows Mi Mix 3 with no chin and bezels around it. There is also a small cut on the top where we put earpiece that is a similar feature to the Mi Mix 2S.
As suggested by a promotional teaser that was posted this week, the Mi Mix 3 will feature a pop-up selfie camera, which is similar to the Vivo Nex S and that is how Xiaomi is ready to go completely bezel-less. Earlier, Mi Mix phones featured the front camera in the bezel at the bottom that was not a very good selfie camera placement.
We can not see the pop-up selfie camera in the leaked image but Xiaomi is expected to use a similar mechanism like Vivo. The Mi Mix 3 is expected to be launched in September, the same time when Mi Mix 2 was launched last year.
As far as we know, the Mi Mix 3 will be packed with flagship-grade hardware and is expected to run on Android 8.1 Oreo. We can say that the Mi Mix 3 may come to Indian Market considering the launch of the Mi Mix 2 last year. Nothing has been reported about the pricing of this phone, but it is sure that the Mi Mix 3 will give tough competition to OnePlus 6.
