Consumer electronics is a lucrative field to jump in. Though having big hurdles of dealing with the public, yet those efforts provide fine rewards at the end. Any company surfing in that industry has to go with some innovation or a brand value to survive. Xiaomi has both of them.
Today, it brought back an Antique Radio and invented a Smart Curtain Motor.

It’s the second one in the Elvis Presley series, whereas the first one is the Bluetooth speaker launched a year back.
This is a smart one packed into a retro-model to feel it’s from the 1970s.
It’s a chrome-plated body with moon rock white color and has manual controls to set tune and knobs for volume setting. They say, the audio output was great but haven’t gone into public yet.
Unfortunately, there’s nothing much revealed about this classic piece except the price. It bears a ¥499 ($73) tag.
The next one is a curtain-controller!
Xiaomi Aqara Smart Silent Curtain Motor:
Seems fun because of Xiaomi not leaving any tiny detail of s smart home.
This new curtain-controller can operate automatically (when set) or by an app or XiaoAI.
Users need to install it first and then connect it to the Mi home app. Through which they can open-close the windows or set a timing which it can automatically do so. This device even has sensors in it to recognize a person’s approaching and open themselves and close when he’s gone.
This one seems to be the second version of this technology, whereas the first product of such has already come in 2017 ending. Which has every feature the same but the newer one has built-in battery support.
Gizmochina says the device uses ZigBee communication protocol which is directed by Aqara air pathway or Mi voice assistant to operate.
It is priced at ¥549 and now available in China.
